Both PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) are derived from your own blood and use concentrated growth factors to stimulate tissue repair and rejuvenation. The key difference is in how they are processed. PRP is spun at a higher speed to isolate plasma and platelets quickly, while PRF is processed more slowly without anticoagulants, resulting in a fibrin matrix that releases growth factors more gradually over time. This slower, sustained release makes PRF particularly effective for longer-lasting regenerative results.

Sculptra results are gradual and long-lasting. Because it works by stimulating your body’s own collagen production using poly-L-lactic acid, results develop over several weeks and can last up to two years or more. Most patients require a series of two to three treatment sessions spaced several weeks apart to achieve optimal volume restoration. Touch-up treatments may be recommended to maintain results over time.

Unlike traditional hyaluronic acid fillers that simply add volume, Radiesse is a biostimulatory injectable that provides immediate volumizing results while simultaneously triggering your body’s natural collagen production. This means results improve over time as new collagen forms around the calcium-based microspheres. Radiesse is particularly well suited for the cheeks, jawline, hands, and body contouring treatments like our non-surgical Brazilian Butt Lift.

PDO (Polydioxanone) threads are dissolvable sutures placed just beneath the skin to lift and reposition sagging tissue or stimulate collagen production. At Radiant Aesthetics we use FDA-cleared MINT PDO threads in two forms — lifting threads that physically reposition tissue for an immediate lift effect, and smooth threads that act as collagen stimulators for gradual skin quality improvement. As the threads dissolve naturally over several months they leave behind a stronger collagen network for continued improvement.

Some regenerative treatments at Radiant Aesthetics have a legitimate HSA and FSA eligibility pathway when used to treat diagnosed medical conditions. PRP and PRF scalp injections used for clinically diagnosed hair loss conditions such as Androgenetic Alopecia may qualify. PDGF used in combination with microneedling for the treatment of acne scarring may also be eligible. Purely aesthetic treatments such as Sculptra, Radiesse, and PDO threads for facial rejuvenation are generally considered cosmetic and would not qualify. We recommend consulting your plan administrator and asking our team about documentation for medically indicated treatments.

Most patients benefit from a series of three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart for optimal results, followed by maintenance treatments every six to twelve months. Individual needs vary depending on the area being treated, the severity of the concern, and how your body responds.
